Leave the burnout behind
Through one-on-one coaching with many adjuncts, I’ve seen how frustrated and burnt out adjuncts feel from their precarious situations. Lack of institutional support, lack of consistent schedules and ongoing precarity lead to lack of confidence.
This course was developed specifically for you as an adjunct to address the unique challenges that you face as a career pivoter and at a price point for you. You’ll get all of the content that’s been tested through my structured individual coaching programs plus bonus content just for adjuncts. You’ll have the tools you need to be successful in finding and landing a job you love.
Enroll NowI am currently doing internship for my local public radio station, which could hopefully lead to a job in a similar field. I also was accepted to get a scholarship to complete a Project Management certification through Project Rise and the Mom Project.

A Course Specifically for Adjuncts
I'll lead you through identifying your values and skills, gain career clarity, build your network, and rebrand your resumes and cover letters.
We'll begin with reframing your mindset as an adjunct. You’ll understand the impact being an adjunct has had on your beliefs about your career and job search; you’ll understand that you have the skills and experience to do work outside of academia, and you’ll learn how to set boundaries to give yourself time to work on your career change.
Ten Weeks
By Mid August, you'll know how to explain your academic skills to the outside world.
Just Ten Weeks To Leave The Burnout Behind.
The program is designed to help you gain career clarity, direction, and to begin building your network in new industries in ten weeks. Each week will cover a different topic in the workbook and the live group calls. The program’s content is designed sequentially: you’ll apply knowledge and insights gained in one week to the exercise and content in the next. .
The backbone of the program is the workbook. You’ll have 68 pages of self-reflective prompts and exercises organized by weekly topic. You’ll complete worksheets in preparation for each week’s coaching call.
Live Weekly Zoom Calls & Program Community
The course runs from June 13-August 18, 2022.
Tell Me About the Group Calls and Community
During our sixty-minute group calls each week, we’ll discuss each week's topic as well as reflect on what you learned by completing that week's worksheets. If the groups are large, we will have breakout rooms to allow for more individual discussion. After each call, you'll leave with concrete next steps to follow.
There will be two call times: Mondays @ 6:30 am PST, and Tuesdays @ 5:00 pm PST to accommodate the various members' needs. You'll choose the time that works best for you and that you can consistently attend.
There is also a group community just for program members. In the community, you'll find weekly reflection prompts as well as opportunities to ask questions and for help. The community is another place for you to receive support, accountability, and structure outside of the weekly calls.
Live Group Calls
Group calls give you discussion time with your colleagues looking to leave academia too. Lean into the support and accountability of your fellow adjuncts.
My schedule is packed. Can I do the program at my own pace?
This program is not self-paced. You'll move through the program on a weekly cadence with other program members.
However, if you can't make the weekly group calls, you can connect with other members in the program community. The community will have weekly prompts for you to reflect on and respond to, providing an extra layer of accountability and structure.
You'll get the most value if you consistently attend one of the group calls each week. Schedules don't always align, however, and it's understandable that you may not be able to attend a call consistently. You'll get the best results if you're able to participate through the community and group calls. If your schedule in the next ten weeks is very hectic, you might want to wait until the next launch to participate.
Invest In Your Future
Think of the time and money you've spent on your education. This program is your investment in your new future.
This Is Different From What You’ve Done Before.
You’ve tried self-paced courses; you’ve done work on your own. This is different. In this structured career program, you’ll have access to an experienced coach, content that’s been tested and proven to help PhDs land jobs outside of academia, and a supportive community of fellow career changers. Structure and accountability are built into this course to help you move forward not just master content. And all at a price you can afford.
I'd highly recommend this program to any adjunct who wants to explore options outside their current situation. It will help to identify what is important to you and how to find a job you want which will be really fulfilling.

The course was really helpful in getting me to prioritize tasks and thinking that I would probably have put off until the summer, or even later. I feel much more confident that I can be successful in a job search and that I am not giving up anything by leaving academia.
